Even though our Wolves had lost, we should still be proud of their hard work! Our Wolves and the Bobcats had 11 matches for the whole match. Here are the match and the team winner. 7th and 8th Football
The KAMS Wolves football team played against coudersport on October 10th, 2019. The Wolves tried hard, but Coudersport won 0-38. Some good throws were made by Reece Bachackas, Sam West, and Dane Anderson.

Girls Basketball
Kane Girls Basketball played against Bradford on September 20th, 2019. The final score came out to 12-22 for 7th grade and 21-23 for 8th grade. 8th grade foul shots were made by Hailey Hillman, and Sarah Stitt. Leah Tiganni, Maya Smith, and Ava Brinkley also made shots.

Spring Concert

The spring concert on April 24, 2019, was truly amazing to hear. The 7th and 8th grade orchestra music was music to my ears. My favorite song was “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran. The 6th grade orchestra played amazing songs such as “Cruise.” The 7th and 8th grade band played beautiful songs such as “Paint it Black.” The 6th grade band played funny songs such as “Baby Shark.” The 6th, 7th, and 8th grade chorus sang beautiful notes such as the song, “Count on Me.” All the grades did an amazing, beautiful job at the concert.
Spring Dance

During the spring dance, April 6 2019, everyone had the time of their lives. I asked a 7th grade student, Hailey Hillman what she thought of the dance. She said “ I had the time of my life with all my friends”. In also asked a 7th grade student, Kylie Iak, what she thought was the best thing that happened at the dance she said “ Being able to dance with friends and got to pick some of the songs to play”. Everyone thought the spring dance was a great hit!
Junior High Volleyball
By Wolves Cry Staff Writer, Sarah Stitt Today on March 7, 2019 our lady wolves go up against the Brookeville lady Raiders. The couches for the team is Janelle Gilmore and Brittney Bizzak. The first match was won by our lady wolves! The second match was also won by our lady wolves, which makes the 7th grade girls win the whole game. Next is the 8th grade game and they also won their first match. Although they tried their best, they lost their second match. The third match they won. the fourth match was the last match, our wolves won! That was a conclusion to our game. Good job to everyone.
Winter 2018-2019
80s Day
MS Wrestling
On January 15, 2019, our Kane Wolves went against the Bradford Owls. The coaches for the team are Mike Swortwood and Jonah Davis. As the first couple wrestlers took their matches, they progress person by person. Our Kane Wolves wrestling team is so talented with their choice of pins. There was variety of different pins happening throughout the night. All the wrestlers that took their place on the mat were very aware of their surroundings and never stopped moving. At the end of the night, there was only one loss and many wins. The final score of the night was 53 for the Wolves and the 14 for the Bradford Owls.
7th and 8th Grade Boys Basketball
On January 2, 2019, the Kane Wolves boys basketball team played against the Bradford Owls. The coach on the 7th grade Wolves team is John Bedford. Kane got the ball off the tip! Both teams have high levels of talent so this was going to be a super tough game for our Wolves. The final score of the game was Kane Wolves 21 and Bradford Owls 43. Good job to all participants. Also on January 2, 2019, the Kane Wolves 8th grade basketball team faced the Bradford Owls. The coach for the 8th grade team is Nate Smith. Kane got the ball off the tip again! The final score for this game was Kane Wolves 44 and Bradford Owls 18. Good job to all participants.

From holiday pajama day, wear Red and Green, to Christmas hat day - KMS celebrated the final week of school before the holidays by being festive. See you in 2019!
Winter Concert
By Satene Banks On December 15th the middle school held a winter concert. The the chorus was directed by Mrs. Tara Blake, the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade orchestra, by Mr. Henry Sobieski, and the 6th 7th and 8th grade band, by Mr. Joseph Thornburg. The 6th grade got thier own time while the 7th and 8th graders were played together in one section. They each played about 3 to 4 song from the normal Christmas carols to the new songs by other artists. With almost 100 students participating, the entire auditorium was filled with relatives there for the students. Almost all the instruments were represented including Bass. We hope that you will show up to their spring concert as well.

These boys played hard!! My first picture shows number 14 getting a touchdown! This touchdown helped the team win 52-6!!! The next photo shows an AMAZING tackle by 12! He saved us from a touchdown from the other team! My third photo is 14 running from the 50 yard line to get a touch down from my first picture!
MS Cheer-Leading Team
The football game was a good one!! Not only was watching football fun, but watching the cheerleaders were fun to watch too!! The first pictures shows Allenah from the middle school! She is around with some of the Tornados. The middle photo - look at those girls slide!! This cheer was so fun to watch. I definitely recommend going to a middle school football games!!The last picture shows all the cheerleaders together from Tornadoes to Wolves. Wow that's a lot if girls!
MS Soccer
On 9/24 The Kane Middle School soccer team lost to the Elk County Catholic soccer team. They lost 0 to 5. Their coach, Coach Mishic, was there the cheering on the team the whole time. The photos above are of the team in action of there Tuesday game at Glenwood Park. They definitely made it difficult for their opponents to win. In the photos above you see the opposing team against the Kane soccer team. All the team mates put there best foot forward. Let's all cheer them on in their future games.

MS Football
On September 20, 2018 the Kane wolves football team is going against Cameron county. The wolves coaches are named Jeff Crowley, John Junko, Eric Asp, and Andy Smith. The kickoff and a tackle is made on the 30 yard line. They final score of the 1st quarter was Wolves 8 and Cameron County 8. Now it's the beginning of the 2nd quarter and Wolves are doing great. The end of the 2nd quarter was Wolves 8 and Cameron County 14. It's the beginning of the 3rd quarter and they trying their best to win the game. The final score was Wolves 14 and Cameron County 14. It's the final quarter and wolves are furious to win.They score touchdown after touchdown.The final score was Wolves 36 and Cameron County 22. Good job to all the participants.

7th and 8th Grade Girls Volleyball
On February 15, 2018, the Kane Lady wolves played against the DCC Cardinals. 7th grade won both of their games. 8th grade also won all of their games. This was their first volleyball match in the season and started off with a win. The coach for 7th grade is Coach Gilmore. 8th grade’s Coach is Coach Bizzak. The Kane Lady Wolves wouldn’t have gotten this win without them. GO KANE!

7th Grade BOYS BASKETBALL
It was February 16, 2018, when the 7th grade boys basketball was playing against Brockway Rovers. The wolves coahes were Smith and Jekielek. The 1st quarter the Brockway Rovers were scoring basket after basket, but the Wolves did not give up. In the the first 2 minutes the Rovers scored 2 baskets making the score 4 Rovers and 0 Wolves. The 2nd quarter was tough for the Rovers. The score at the end of the 2nd quarter was 8 Rovers and 15 for the Wolves. The 3rd quarter the Wolves were fighting back scoring many points. The final quarter was amazing because the Wolves were hustling from one end of the court to the other. The final score was Rovers 9 and Wolves 22. The Wolves ended with a victory. Good job to all the players who participated in the game.
MS Wrestling
On January 23, 2018, the Kane Wolves wrestled the Ridgway Elkers. They won 46-16. The boys are doing such a great job at winning. They are working hard and putting their full heart into it. 6th Grade Boys Basketball
On December 13, 2017, the Kane boys basketball team played the Johnsonburg Rams. Sadly, the boys lost. The score was 26-30, so it was a close game. Even though the boys lost, they did a good job and it was a good way to start off the season. We thank Coach Lundeen and Coach Forquer for doing such a good job for getting these boys ready to start the season.

Girls Basketball
On September 29, 2017, the Kane Lady Wolves basketball team played Elk County Christian. Sadly, they lost in the first game. The score was 12-28. In the second game, they still lost. Even though the Lady Wolves lost the game, they still did a really good job. They tried their very best and played very hard. Coaches for the 7th and 8th grade team are Kathy Counts and Erin Lundeen.
Football
On September 21, 2017, the Kane Wolves played the Otto-Eldred Terrors. The Wolves beat the Terrors 48-6. From watching the game, I could tell that they did a very great job. They tried so hard and never gave up - this is the true Wolves Spirit!

MS Boys Basketball
The boys basketball team has a current record of 7-3 (January 21). They have had many games and work very well as a team. They communicate well and are respectful to the crowd and other teammates. They have good sportsmanship and represent Kane well. They have had an amazing season so far and have more wins yet to come!
MS Girls Winter Cheerleading

The middle school cheer team has 3 captains and 18 other cheerleaders. You can see the cheerleaders at middle school basketball games, wrestling matches, and some competitions. They know about 15-20 cheers. The cheerleaders have practice right after school from 3:30-5:45, and they practice 4-5 times per week to perfect those cheers.
MS Boys Wrestling
The KAMS wrestling team has two team that make it up - East Forest and Kane Middle School. There are 3 girls, 11 boys, and 3 coaches. The head coach is Mr. Davis, a middle school teacher. They practices from 3 to 5 after school every day. The team will see many different opponents during the week as well as travel to some tournaments on the weekends.
MS Girls Volleyball
Lady Wolves win both home games to end the season on a high note! By Matt J. Boyer On Thursday 3/9 the lady wolves faced the Brookville Raiders at home. The 7th grade Lady Wolves beat the Raiders with a 25-17 and a 25-23 game with best 2 out of 3 games. Later that night the 8th grade Lady Wolves won 3 out of 5 games with a 25-12 game, 25-21 game, and a game. On Friday 3/10 the Lady wolves faced the Eisenhower Knights at another home game. The 7th grade Wolves beat the knights with a best 2 out of 3 games with a 25-20 win and a 25-13 win, ending their season with a great victory. The 8th grade Lady Wolves won 3 out of 5 games beating the Lady Knights with a 25-21, 25-11, and a 25-17 game.
“These ladies played so well throughout this season and I couldn’t be prouder of them. I will miss the 8th graders next year, but hope they do just as well at the high school next year” said Coach Nichole Krietemeyer.
The teams consist of 13 7th graders, and 11 8th graders. The teams are coached by Nichole Krietemeyer and Brittany Bizzak.

Kane Area Middle School has a great football team! They work together very well and communicate. They practice Monday-Wednesday and have games mostly on Thursdays. This gives them one day off during the school week. They are very committed players and represent our school well. Good job this season boys! You won most of your games!

These girls fight to get the ball and deserve every single win that they get! They all have good sportsmanship and show respect to the other team. There couldn't be a better group of ladies representing our school. They put all they have into this sport practicing nightly and having games often. The lady wolves are a great team with great players!
