Author: Eve Bunting Review by Satene Banks On the fateful trip of the Titanic, Barry O’Neil, an Irish boy who lives with his grandparents, gets more than he bargained for. Along with being home sick he also has to deal with the Flynn boys, who have threatened to throw him overboard. Even the Barry’s sister has decided to join the trip. As the story intensifies, we continue to learn more and more about Barry and the Flynn boys until the very end, when the ship sinks. The book is a must read for new historians. With the action and chaos that takes place on the Titanic, Eve Bunting proves that the true story of the Titanic is as sad and true as they get. I would give it a 4 out of 5. Definitely an easy read and hard to put down as you wait for the next plot twist. |
