As I was falling I could feel the pain leave my body
I felt as if I was flying free from the suffering The pain and suffer that I had embodied The pain and suffering that I had for many years The pain was so unbearable it caused daily tears The suffering that has caused much trauma Caused by all the drama I felt at peace with myself as I fell I know some say how can you be sad life is swell But I would rather fall Than suffer any longer This wont make me stronger As I fall I hear their cries For me to come back As im almost to the ground i look up into their eyes There is no need to regret what I have done I no longer have to run I am glad with what I have done Life was never fun I know all will say what I did was wrong For too long I was strong I finally broke My life was a joke As I hit the ground I finally felt relief I ran over to the corner to hide but my cat found me and made me float. “I am going to shove Scooby Snacks in your mouth until you tell me where you keep my brothers”. I didn't actually have them at my house, but as far as how insanely psychotic today had been, I could imagine that he would like to make them appear magically or something. I was right, except he threw up Scooby Snacks and shoved them down my throat. “HACK!” NO I WILL TELL YOU PLEASE!” He let go. “Just go to the pound and get away from me you psycho!” He levitated to the door and blew it up, but he blew up a little more than the door. The building started to collapse. “WHAT HAVE YOU DONE, YOU STUPID CAT?!” “Well time to levitate to the pound, I'll be sure to come to your funeral, GOODBYE!” and he floated away. “I will save you!” It was Scooby, but then a giant rock came down and devastated him.
I stare at my dog and wonder what's going on inside her head? Do they feel hatred Remorse? Love? Do they understand relationships? Devotion? Are they content in being who they are? She notices me staring at her and her long tail thumps against the ground I smile "What's going on, Emmaline?" She gets her face all in mine her hazel eyes singing an unchanging song "I want your undivided attention." Her tail makes her body sway side to side I caress her tiny head She buries it in my hand Making these cute little whines "Who's a good girl?" She rubs herself against me And then it comes to me Dogs are masters of companionship selfless devotion loyalty When they see you in danger the only thing that runs through their mind is their master And they'd die for your sake They comfort you in their own way licking your tears away Only imagining a future with you This isn't something to take for granite As we humans have to be so selfish and naive Of our dogs calling them stupid or a nuisance Yes, they don't know the periodic table They may not understand everything but these simple dogs have something that we humans could never have Hopeless dedication and loyalty and meek little bodies These simple dogs enjoy life And except themselves for who they are So I encourage you today Don't wish your dog away And merry jingly mas, I guess |
