Submitted by Corabeth H - 6th Grade Reporter Congratulations to 6th Grade students Satene Banks and Brittany Eaton! They are the first two in the entire Middle School to have answered the Genre Challenge. Students in 6th Grade are required to read six different genres: Realistic Fiction, Historical Fiction, Fantasy, Sports Fiction, Science Fiction and Adventure. Students must also score well on the corresponding AR quiz. This is remarkable feat and they are an inspiration to others. Branden Bentley, a seventh grade student, earned the most points with 72. Eighth grade student Brook Ginkel earned 43, and sixth grade student Kate Parana had 32. Nicole Ewart (6th), Abby Deane (7th), and Owen Hillard (8th) were chosen as basket winners for the month.
