Words Hurt More Than Actions
Though some say words are more quiet I feel they are more violent An action that has happened Can be forgotten But words scar the heart Even when the words drift apart They stay buried deep into the brain The words cause physical, mental and emotional drain People don't see how their words hurt They aren't just words we can brush off like dirt Some people can see what their words do But don't fix them with a nicer sincere action Their sweet action will help for time being It can help the physical transaction Maybe the emotional too But the mental is forever damaged Along with their well being They cause more than emotional scars They also can cause physical scars Some even cost a life Those with an invisible knife They pose as our friend They break us then mend That's how their twisted brains work We overwork With their words swirling in our brains We over work ourselves for their entertainment Our scars remain With their statement We sit their pondering if its true We will have someone screaming at us saying their not But we cant help but wonder If not us who These words are our thunder The scars our lightning Them the eye of the storm Our consequences may be frightening They start to swarm Our brains can only hold so many words and actions We hold more words through our scars Actions fade With ourselves comes abstractions This is the life we made Comments are closed.
